Garden – Vladimír Staněk

Mr. Staněk is gardening for 50 years and has plenty of experience with collecting and distributing seeds from remote places (from the Pyrenees to China). He is very good at propagating alpines and will have a good offer of well-grown rare plants for you. His garden is at a small highland called locally Czech Siberia and the garden is in elevation 500 meters above sea level sloping from the north; it is sure that his microclimate is cooler than usual rock gardens have to disposal. So, here is the place to see true alpines including cushion Androsaces. There is a large crevice garden built from local granite stones with comfortable paths. Unusual are true stony troughs filled with small cushion plants. New species from Turkey and Central Asia are here seen and discussed.
